About the American Fidelity Foundation
C.W. Cameron and his son, C.B. Cameron established the American Fidelity Foundation because they believed investing in the communities where they lived and worked was the right thing to do.
The American Fidelity Founders’ Fund was established in 1985 to continue the legacy and vision of supporting the community held by American Fidelity’s (AF) founders C.B. and C.W. Cameron. The father-son duo founded AF in 1960 and it has since grown to be one of the largest private, family-owned life and health insurance companies in the nation.
In 2007, with a rebrand to the American Fidelity Foundation, our mission was refocused to better meet the needs of our community and to provide more financial grants that matched the civic involvement of the AF companies and our Colleagues.
The success of American Fidelity companies has helped the Foundation’s assets grow to more than $42 million. Learn more about American Fidelity.
